ICRSE endorses the statement released on the 3rd of March, the International Sex Workers' Rights Day, by Empower Foundation (Thailand) and the English Collective of Prostitutes (UK) for sex workers participation during the International Women's Strike on 8 March.

Today, February 15th 2017, the Republic of Ireland voted in favour of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Bill. This Bill introduce the criminalisation of clients as well as increase the penalty for sex workers working together for safety. The Bill also allows the authorities to confiscate the earnings of sex workers as 'proceeds of crime'.

Today, on the International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers, ICRSE calls on European LGBT, women’s rights, feminist, migrant and other human rights organisations to join our fight to challenge stigma against sex workers and support the sex worker movement’s demands for decriminalisation and safe working conditions.
