In 1991, sex workers and friends founded the Association Madonna. In the tradition of young European sex workers movement the initiative constitute for the rights of sex workers and sex work for equality with other professions. Since 1992, Madonna offers a consultancy service for sex workers and lobbying.

Madonna is a counseling center for sex workers. In addition, we are committed to the rights of sex workers for the recognition of sex work, the self-help, self-determined life.
We see sex work as a professional activity and wish that sex work is fully recognized as an activity. We wish and want in the sex trade workers can enjoy the same state protection and human respect, as other workers also.
