- About me
- I started fighting for sex workers' rights in 2000, in Italy, as a feminist and lesbian and queer activist, and as a researcher in economics and gender studies. Later, in the Netherlands and in London, I got involved in sex workers' groups, including the ICRSE (namely as one of the organisers of the Brussels Conf), the IUSW and x:talk. I completed a PhD in London on 'The political economy of sex work in Europe' which is a feminist materialist theory of sex and work, stigma and resistance in sex work, based on the knowledge circulating within the sex workers rights movement in Europe (as I know it...).I tend to move between European countries, but feel very attached to Italy, my country of origin. I (too?) often wonder about the meaning of life...

- I currently don't belong to any specific group. I am well connected to MIT (mouvement for transsexual identity, Bologna) and Comitato per i diritti civili delle prostitute in Italy, as well as groups in France, UK and the Netherlands. I also am part of larger networks of activism on LGBT, feminist, migrant, and labour issues.
