About Organisation
PION - prostitutes' organization in Norway was established in 1990 and is an organization for women, men and transgender people who work as sex-workers in Norway. Our work is directed towards health, rights and safety for sex-workers living or staying temporarily in Norway. PION is consulted by the ministries on issues related to sex-work. We collaborate with other public services directed towards sex-work as well as relevant organizations on issues related to sexual health and rights as LGBT-organizations. PION participates actively in public debates on sex workers policy through the magazine Albertine and our website www.pion-norge.no.
