Australia Mardi Gras 2010 - Sex Workers represent!

Discrimination makes SEX WORKERS feel ALIEN!
Although our news is a little late it is so fabulous we had to post it anyway. Sex Workers and rights activists took to the streets of Sydney Australia for this year's Mardi Gras (27 February) along with other revelers.

From the Scarlet Alliance website: "In 2010 sex workers and supporters marched with the Transsexual Empire Strikes Back float by A Gender Agenda (ACT). Sex workers from Scarlet Alliance, Vixen and RhED (Victoria), Sex Industry Network (SA), Debby Doesn't Do It For Free, Sex Workers Union, SWOP NSW, Scarlet Alliance Tasmanian Office and international friends from Fiji, Japan, North America, UK, Vienna, Ireland and more..."

A most fitting theme given the alienation we experience because of discrimination and isolation. You must look at the pictures they are fantastic!
