I am a life-long TU member and activist. I have been a supporter of the GMB Adult Entertainment branch, which organises with sex workers, since its inception in 2002. I am currently doing a research project for my MA on "Why do sex workers join the union? and what can the union do for them?" Through this I hope to help move union support for sex workers forward and publicise their voices inside and outside the union. I will also be researching STRASS and interviewing members.

I am a supporter member of STRASS and I participate in events actions organised by the GMB branch and its activists.
